WHEN GOD REIGNS

“We will Glorify”
We will glorify the King of Kings;
We will glorify the Lamb.
We will glorify the Lord of Lords,

Who is the great I AM.

Lord Jehovah reigns in majesty;

We will bow before His throne.

We will worship Him in righteousness;

We will worship Him alone.

He is Lord of heaven, Lord of earth;

He is Lord of all who live.

He is lord above the universe;

All praise to Him we give.

Hallelujah to the King of Kings;

Hallelujah to the Lamb.

Hallelujah to the Lord of Lords,

Who is the great I AM.

Never let me forget whose I am Lord. Let me never bring disgrace upon your name. Help me to hear your voice and follow your steps. Teach me your secret ways oh Lord. Empower me to stand strong against the enemy. Then I will defeat my foes through the power of the blood.

Father, I call upon your healing power to restore the nerves in my body, relieving me from the pain that comes in my hands and neck. I give you total control of my body, the fragile vessel that it is. Refine it and make it pleasing in your sight. I receive your healing, oh God, and praise you for the miraculous wonders you have done, are doing and will do in my life and the lives of my family members. Continue your reign in us.

ALL PRAISE AND HONOR AND GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST
SON OF THE LIVING GOD!

WORSHIP LIKE A CHILD

During last Sunday's service, my daughter was all over the sanctuary while I was singing with the praise and worship team. She came up to stand with me a couple of times and really enjoyed the music. As the worship time extended, she became restless until I finally got her brother to take her to the fellowship hall.

There was a time that behavior would have been annoying to me and even prevent me from entering into worship. I am happy to say, not anymore. My reward for not over reacting to her behavior is listening to her sit at my feet while I write this blog. She is playing with her new wedding Barbie and pretending to sing on stage (like her mom). What caught my attention, was the expression and intensity in her voice. It sounded like she was talking right to Jesus' himself.

She may only be four years old, but I know she has a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ. Even before she could speak understandably, she would pray. I know she was praying, because I had taught her sign language for God and she was using it over and over. She would utter sounds I didn't understand then say
"Amen."

What a delight to hear your child sing and make up songs about praising God during her play time. While she seemed to have been a distraction at church, she was actually listening and learning. Thank you God, for keeping me calm and focused on you while being a part of my daughter's spiritual growth. Please continue to teach me to worship you through her innocence.

Psalm 134:2 (NIV)

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the LORD.

DEAR PAPA GOD,

I had a wonderful time worshiping you tonight. Like a homecoming. I remember yesterday, folding clothes and listening to music and just relishing the fact that you were with me during the boring chore of folding the mountain of clothes consuming my bed. My heart soared and my spirit took flight.

Awe, but tonight when I joined several other believers and friends to make beautiful music in your honor, that was the best thing ever. I am so excited to be in love with you. It’s like nuzzling your neck as I lay my head on your shoulder and feeling you caress my hair and kiss my cheek. No worries, no searching for something that’s missing, just pure togetherness.

Complete rest like lying on your back in the tall green grass in the cool of the day – contentment.

I know there are many hurting and confused people who are searching for answers to the problems that are plaguing them. My heart aches for them during their troubled times. Help me Father, to walk beside them and remind them to look to you each time something bad happens, for you are able to deliver those who call upon your name.

Your yoke IS easy and your burden IS light. (Matthew 11:30) You also always have room for our cares. (1 Peter 5:7)

Thanks for a great time, Papa God.
Your daughter
